• MODE OF ACTION

Poisoning leads to transitory loss of consciousness and a failing vital function. On account of advancing capillary porosity there is a slow and mostly internal haemorrhage nearly free from pain.

• APPLICATION

Application rates for use in tamper-resistant bait stations or covered and equally access-protected places that are inaccessible for children and non-target animals:

Application rates for target animal house mouse:
Heavy infestation: max. 50 g bait - recommended distance between 2 bait points: 1 - 1,5 metres.
Low infestation: max. 50 g bait - recommended distance between 2 bait points: 2 - 3 metres.

Application rates for target animals Roof and Norway rats:
Heavy infestation: max. 200 g bait - recommended distance between 2 bait points: 4 - 5 metres.
Low infestation: max. 200 g bait - recommended distance between 2 bait points: 8 - 10 metres.

Application only by trained professional users with expertise according to Annex I no. 3 German Ordinance on Hazardous Substances (version of 29.03.2017), if this expertise is required. Otherwise, the rodenticide may also be used by following a) and b) mentioned trained professional users:

a) professional users with certificate according to plant protection regulation (PflSchSachkV)

b) users with special expertise holding certification demonstrating the participation on a course with following content:

• behaviour and biology of rodents,

• regulations in control of rats and mice,

• control of rodents (incl. Integrated pest management and resistance management),

• mode of action of rodenticides (especially anticoagulants),

• hazards and risks for human and the environment when applying rodents and techniques for risk mitigation (especially primary and secondary poisoning of non-target animals and their prevention, handling with pbt/vPvB-substances),

• techniques of application/procedure and documentation,

• behaviour of rats in sewers.
